AOBI

Advanced/Pre-Professional Summer Program

Intensive summer ballet training —your springboard from studio to stage, where ambition meets artistry.

21 July – 2 August 2025

Set in the heart of one of Europe’s most inspiring cultural cities, The Art of Ballet Intensive (AOBI) welcomes pre-professional dancers, advanced vocational students, and dedicated advanced recreational dancers aged 12 and above to join a refined and deeply enriching summer experience.

Our boutique intensive offers daily training in ballet technique, classical variations, Limón technique, contemporary and jazz technique, and Prix de Lausanne repertoire and choreographies — enriched by a special masterclass led by a legendary figure from Nederlands Dans Theater.

All classes are accompanied by live music and taught by a world-class international faculty, featuring acclaimed artists and educators from institutions such as the Prix de Lausanne, Dutch National Ballet, The Royal Ballet School, and more.

You’ll become part of a warm, inclusive community that honours dancers of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds. At AOBI, we believe that true artistry flourishes through individuality, diversity, and shared excellence.

Admission is by audition only.

Dancers may choose a two-week immersion, a one-week session, or a three-day intensive — each offering the same standard of artistic depth, technical refinement, and meaningful mentorship that define the AOBI experience.

  • Study under acclaimed artists from Prix de Lausanne, Royal Ballet School, Paris Opera Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT), Scapino Ballet, and Dutch National Ballet.

  • Elevate your daily training experience with the inspiration of professional pianists and percussionists.

  • Step onto the stage in the heart of Amsterdam, presenting original Prix de Lausanne repertoire, classical variations, and newly created works by AOBI’s esteemed faculty — an experience that bridges excellence, creativity, and international prestige

  • Join an intimate, meticulously curated program that combines rigorous classical ballet training, contemporary exploration, personal coaching, and cultural immersion — offering a transformational journey unlike any other.
