The Art of Ballet Intensive is an immersive experience where your passion meets world-class coaching and mentorship — an exclusive boutique program guiding you from studio to stage in the heart of Amsterdam.
The Art of Ballet Intensive (AOBI) transforms aspiring dancers into honed artists. Under the guidance of a team of seasoned professionals, our program offers a deep dive into the technique and artistry of dance. Our program welcomes ambitious pre-professional as well as recreational dancers, and culminates with a theater performance for our full-course participants. At AOBI we are firmly committed to the principles of inclusivity.
You will have the unique opportunity to train with an elite roster of guest teachers, choreographers, and adjudicators from world-class ballet companies and institutions such as the Prix de Lausanne, Royal Ballet School, Dutch National Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theater, Paris Opera Ballet, Harkness Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Rambert Ballet, Berlin Opera Ballet, Broadway, Hollywood, and beyond!
Our Programs
Intermediate
Designed for dancers of all ages and backgrounds, our Intermediate Program warmly welcomes both vocational students and recreational dancers — offering a nurturing space where passion, artistry, and an intermediate level of training come together. With high-quality, in-depth instruction, dancers are supported in refining their technique and deepening their artistic expression. No audition needed — just your love for ballet.
Advanced/Pre-Professional
Our Advanced Program is a springboard for all advanced dancers — offering elite-level training under a renowned international faculty. Whether you are a vocational student, an emerging pre-professional, or an advanced dancer pursuing artistic growth, you will refine your craft, deepen your artistry, and prepare for the professional stage. Admission is by audition, creating a focused and inspiring community.
